Normally a small part like this would be a pain in the rear. The wood would break or split and you would have to spend time fixing with glue. This method does a great job of keeping everything together.

Place a blank sheet on the backside to keep parts from breaking.

Using yellow Esaki tissue. Pre Shrunk then applied on frame with 50/50 Elmers and water.
