Seeing that the fuselage was pretty much already framed up, I didn't want to cut away too much of the formers/bulkheads. If I did cut away the formers, then there would be nothing left to support the outside covering. So, I decided upon a crazy idea. You can easily see from this sample what I'm about to do.

When in fact, closer views will show the exhaust supported directly to the crankcase just under the valve cover
