Good evening my friends. Remember me? Started production of a Jenny this afternoon. This build....”A Jenny for Evelyn”. Evelyn requested an aero plane for the ceiling of her bedroom. Grumpus promised delivery by Thanksgiving. Either white with pink polka dots or pink with white dots....which scheme yet to be determined. I shall periodically keep you all posted on the progress.

I use the beading cable for contol cable. I think this shows the loop and Al tube crimp used to attach the cable

Arrived home yesterday. The hardest part of recovery is about to begin as I am now under the care of my "Wuffy" who is a clone of Nurse Ratchet. Upon my arrival I was greeted by three reference books on Barnstormers and the Jenny. The Doc prescribed an antibiotic as a prophylactic against infection It seems like he had his fingers deep into the right leg aligning the new knee. I am 9/16 of an inch taller and when I stand straight, my kness can touch. I have an evaluation appointment at an out patient therapy center therapy center near my home, at noon today. Once I become super confident navigating stairs, I shall visit Jenny in my basement man cave. Here is a photo from the rehab center while undergoing therapy for the knees.

The best laid plans up in smoke. I had wanted the Jenny and reference material to start arriving AFTER I was at sleep away camp. I planned on using the cloak of sympathy and recovery to hide the purchase of another "Silly Plane!" Look what arrived today the Jenny assembly manual and the short kit.

Another loose end. The Halberstadt left the shop for the den. Shop, den, and eventually the mini museum in the cabin. The order of things!
