| Port wing cowling. Upper right view of outside mold (appropriate size shampoo bottle shoulder) was used to create outside of mold. Upper left shows the inner plastic tube and outer bottle mold. Resin was poured between the two.. The resin was left to harden and the two mold parts pulled apart leaving raw cowling shape that was sanded. AL foil applied and burnished resulting in bottom finished cowling. |
