I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

The entire length of the fuselage interior will have to be shaped and reinforced. this is just the beginning. I just started "German" school (5 days a week till next May YUCK!) so this may take a while. ;o(

The wing saddle area has been hollowed to accept the "Monkey Motion" unit and reinforced with Carbon Fiber cloth. I was able to use some of my old Spoke shaves for the fuselage decapitating!e

Removed the upper section of the fuselage that will be replaced by formers and stringers. Forward of the trailing edge will be a hatch.

Still semi-rough on the parting line.

1/64" ply laminate on the outside for reinforcement (I need room inside for the "Monkey Motion Unit". To "Lighten" up the look of the Fuselage I believe I will combine the sheeted/solid lower half of the fuselage with a upper "Former and Longeron" upper half. The Orange tape line delineates the separation line. I sculpted the shape I want in the solid-ish wood to get a good idea of what I want. The Vertical fin will be built in during the assembly. Still big questions on that though! I won't bore you with that...for now. Ha Ha Ha!

The mid section of the Fuselage needs to be "Flat-Topped" because of the control pins that move through a slot in the side of the Fuselage (not there yet).

Shaped out the fuselage. Looks to "Chunky" in comparison to the...uhhh...delicate...airy(?). wings.

Beginning the Fuselage. Got out the old stuff to get some straight lines. Picked up all these Carpenter/Cabinet planes on ebay.de for around $100. Shipped! All the blades and wedges are there. Just a bit of TLC. And some serious re-grind on a couple. It's all good though. I've been acquiring and restoring many vintage hand tools over the past few years to use. nothing like "Hands-on" !

Learning to fly...HaHa...Funny...During my hiatus I jumped into the art of the Sythe. I made the "Snathe" (handle) out af laminated spruce. I mowed my Fathers lawn with it for a year and a half....before I jumped into my new life. Built that Cabin too.

Trimmed down. I'm also adding Carbon Fiber cap strips (1/16 x .008") to the diagonal ribs to stiffen up the VERY thin airfoil. Flutter is NOT good!!
