In checking against scale data the wing is about 3 inches longer than it should be. I suspect the Comet made that dimension accurate the model would be too large for the 10 cent model fleet which generally had a 16 inch wingspan.

As near as I can remember this was the first model airplane kit I ever tried to build, probably in 1939. I didn't finish it but I did cut myself on the split double edge razor blade used then to cut out the parts.
