scigs30 | Comet Vultee Vengeance A-35 | Build | 24-Jul-14 11:44 | | Views : 456 | I love these old Comet kits, go together fast easy to build and fun to fly. They are simple and not too complicated and not too much time spent on details. In one night I had all the parts cut out, the wood is pretty good quality. The next day I had the major structures all built. I have used a jig in the past to build the keel and former fuselage but this time just went with the plans method of Speed O Matic construction and it turned out pretty straight. I am planning on printing the camo onto tissue paper and covering wet. I will once again use Eze Dope since the structures are thin, fragile and will warp with dope. |
