My carved scoop can't really be seen to advangtage here so take my word for it I really carved a nice scoop that has a very interesting shape where it ataches to the fuselage.

That they are in 1/24th scale is one of th main reasons I like the Diels kits, which allows me to use the mfr's make for plastic kits. I'm hoping find a set of P-40B decals from the Vintage P-40B Flying Tiger to use with the Diels P-40B. I've e-mailed to

The markings are a combination of kit decals and from an Eagle Strike sheet. Not completely accurate but close enough to look good.

Finished, my second kit on Virtualaerodrome, I actually started this one bdfore the Guillows !90A-3. I've got to master the scale prop and learn to install it in a scale spinner.

I've been told that the Diel kits are very good flyers. I can't seem to make up my mind if I want to fly these scale kits or not. I've found a Japanese Web Site that seems to have quite few Diels kits flying. But I seem to get carried away with the scale

The kit does not come with a printed instrument panel, so paintig is required, but does have a vacu canopy which I think is standard in each kit.

One the things about the Diels kits is the lack of plastic parts which will improve your carving ability. I am particularly pleased with the way the huge airscoop came out. I still have some clean up on the black to do, and I should have don a better job

I started the the Ta 152H some time ago, but was waiting on some decals I had ordered before I could finish it.

Diels kits are almost all to a constant scale of 1/24th and are primarilly military aircrarft. One of the things I like about Diels kits is that a number of plastic model vendors make decals in 1/24th scale.
