The red "stick" in the center of the wing is the landing gear lowered indicator.

The wing root cannon is aluminium tubing and the outboard cannon is carved from a bass wood dowel.

The aerial wire is thread left over from a ship kit. Using a trick I learned from building ships I ran the thread through bees wax before installing it. The Bees wax lays doune all the fiberous fux and also prolongs the life to the thread. The aerial anch

The space in front of the instrument panel just behind the windscreen is painted flat black.

The armored head rest is held in place with two pieces of left over landing gear wire cut to length and painted dark grey the same as the rest of the cockpit. Beneath the headrest was a red instruction plaque with white letters

The supplied instrument panel with a little added color looks quite nice. It must be trimmed to fit.
