I remembered that polyspan will shink even afeter it is painted. A few minutes with the heat gun and the fuse and wings are tight again. Shrinking after paint makes the paint a tad glossier. Of course you must heat slowly so as not to damage the paint. Off to the cabin tomorrow!!

Remember Schnazola the crop duster? It was in the shop for a pre transport dusting and inspection. It has been about 6 months since its completion. I noticed that the balsa must have dried and the entire plane has shunk a bit. The music wire rigging was bowed and the polyspan had sagged. I cut small sections from the wires and installed Al tubing ferrules, crimped on one end. The rigging is straight again and the ferrule should allow for linear change with temp.
