15/11/10 19:31 I was happy with the finished results and glad I made the modifications to the construction of this model. But I don't care to construct another one of the Series 900 builds.

Extra details added were the wing-pods to carry small rockets, or flares, etc. and the small dual exhaust on the bottom of the engine cowling.

Looking from the left rear. The piece to the right is the material for the observation window that goes on the top wing. It was made from heavy stock paper.

Papered and assembled. The extra stringers on the fuselage made for a much improved appearance.

Building the fuselage, the parts actually broke in my hands. I modified the construction of the fuselage.

I decided to try one of the Guillows Series 900 models. When I opened up the kit, I was disappointed to see that the sheet balsa was only 1/20th thickness. Per the stock plans, the construction of the model was very thin and fragile. I doubled the amount of ribs and adding additional spars and stringers to the model.
