I used the ailerons and flaps to get a bit of camber and, on the port wing, to provide wash-in to counter the torque.

Almost all of the insignia are made from tissue paper. It seems to stick well and not show a seam.

The canopy framework is covered with thins strips of tissue. I roughened the canopy with an exacto blade so that the glue would hold it well.

The small balsa disk in the nose is a removable nose block. I replaced the plastic manifolds with ones made from balsa because they seemed too thick and too round, and, more importantly, didn't fit in the snake's mouth.

I am trying for a weathered look. I am applying several shades, in thin coats, generally trying to streak the colors in the direction of the airflow. I used colored pencils and chalk, also, to simulate dirt.
