Landing gear fabricated and installed

a bit spindly-legged for carrier landings compared to modern jets...no wonder there's so much footage of them careening into the barricades on collapsed gear. of course nowadays the Navy jets can carry 10 times the payload and can even land with some of it still attached if they have to. No more dumping ordy just to get aboard

it looks just beautiful Dave - has Josh sent you the proofs yet?

Thanks, not yet, but they should be here next week.

nice panther dd!
BriandKilby16-Sep-18 10:00
dd, was the panther and the banshee similar in appearance or was it another navy jet of that era?
David Duckett16-Sep-18 10:30
They were similar and contemporaries.
