Don C | 30-Jul-20 15:31 | Finished paint and decals. Letting it cure for a day or so and then a semi-gloss clear coat to seal everything. |
bsadonkill | 30-Jul-20 20:43 | Looks good, nice smooth finish! |
David Duckett | 30-Jul-20 20:56 | That's pretty! |

BriandKilby | 01-Aug-20 19:50 | what's your next build don? |
Don C | 02-Aug-20 10:28 | I haven't thought too much about that yet, Brian. I need to finish the landing gear up first. |
heywooood | 03-Aug-20 00:27 | Early Nav jets are the next best thing to Golden Age biplanes - the designs of them and their colors are just terrific. But I guess getting them on and off those old straight deck carriers was no picnic. Early jet engines could not be throttled up and down rapidly so the pilot had to be mentally way out in front of his jet on landing, especially wrt ‘sink rate’..
You have created another beautiful early Navy jet here Don..she looks SWEET. |
Don C | 03-Aug-20 13:00 | Thanks Kevin
