This was a quick build, but will be a while before I can finish her. I will be busy the next few days but will get back to the build when I can. As you can see there are no modifications, pretty much built per the plans. I still have to do some final sanding and adding wood to the stab area. Comet is famous for making one wonder...where do I attach the tissue and motor peg:confused: Comet does not use vacuum formed parts, but they do a great job of providing parts and directions for the little details. I kept this build simple since I will only fly her a couple of times. For a more durable build, I would recommend replacing the paper parts with wood, sheeting the nose area, and strengthening the wing. The next step will be to cover with domestic tissue and paint the camo. Then off to the flying field. Once again, for how much these kits cost back in the 80s, not a bad deal.

They cost $0.50 back in the late 40's and 50's,which was a small fortune.

OH!What a little beauty!Don,t over thighting the tisue you will have warped wings.Which you probaly already know this about comet kits!Thats why they realy do fly they so lite
