| Rayl, in one of your last posts, you said the surface tapes were cut to 5" width in scale. I believe that the correct scale width is 3" at the most. I used to work on real aircraft covering. We used pinked tape over the rib stitching and all were at 3" width. Just thought you'd might wish to double check. |

| DD, that phrase "next level of magnitude" was just an expression of taking scale detailing beyond the average build. To include rib stitching and surface tape is, to me, going beyond the ordinary. You do this all the time with every-single-one-of-your builds... :) |

| I would guess that, based on your scale of 1/14th, the width of your scale surface tape would be about slightly less than 1/4" width. 5" would be almost a half foot in width in the real world of aircraft. That would be an equivalent to about nearly 1/2" in width. |
