edtherenderman | 17-Sep-21 10:41 | That's a good idea about the combing, but I modeled those into the cockpit covers when I created the 3D models. I can get a lot of detail in the 3D print. But I think what makes the difference is that I used a Leather colored acrylic that didn't cover that well and left a bunch of brush strokes. Then used a dark brown acrylic wash that settled into the stokes, giving it a folded appearance. |

I used the rolled silkspan trick a time or two and thought I recognized it here. |
