| David Duckett | 21-May-08 19:46 | | Ok, NOW, it's nearly ready for the paint shop. By the way, I believe the Moon's friend is Venus. |
| SteveM | 21-May-08 21:34 | | If the wings sweep back won't everything under the wing no longer be parallel to the air flow and create drag? |
| poppy | 21-May-08 22:54 | | Well done!! |
| jgood | 21-May-08 23:16 | | Steve, I'm sure you know, but on the real thing, the wing mounted stuff, angles to stay pointing into wind as the wings swivel back... |
| SteveM | 21-May-08 23:27 | | I figured that they must rotate as the wing sweeps, but I don't like to make assumptions. I didn't find much material on the wing but did find a photo that shows the pivot.
Also, it's a "GR" not a "DR". |
| jgood | 22-May-08 07:03 | | Thanks, name fixed... |
| RodN | 24-May-08 20:37 | | Nice work indeed David. |
| Barnstormer | 24-May-08 21:03 | | Yes I agree, very nice work, especially the cockpit and pilots add a nice touch too. |
| sweetwillie | 24-May-08 21:45 | | Another museum quality model. Well done, David. |
| supercub | 25-May-08 12:11 | | I agree, very good! Can't wait to see what it looks like painted! Also, I am scratch-building a Comet 54" Taylorcraft from repro. plans by Tom Martin R/C, but can't seem to e-mail James to add it to the list. Anyway, I thought you might know how to. Thanks for any help, SuperCub. |
| Barnstormer | 25-May-08 12:24 | | Supercub, try mail@jamesgood.com |
| supercub | 25-May-08 13:12 | | Thanks, also I started the build already and will post pictures as soon as he adds it. Thanks again, SuperCub. |
