| David Duckett | 02-Jul-09 19:03 | | Many thanks!! The canopy is attached with medium CA and one small gap in front was filled with white glue which dries clear. I used painted strips of masking tape across the top and then masked off the bottom and painted it. I had to use filler only in a couple of small spots at the very back and also at the front. Finally I cut the front framing in one piece from the masking tape. I do have, and sometimes use, canopy glue but I'll use CA if I can get away with it. The paint itself acts as a filler, as well and there's about six coats around the base. |
