Got the rear half done and had to test fit the halves together just to see. Without nose or tail cones the Zep is roughly twice as long as a Guillow's 400-series Mustang!

Thanks for the compliments gents. Any suggestions on how I might go about making sure the two halves are correctly aligned? The last thing I need is a bent blimp!

I have heard that in England, "bent" has a slightly different connotation. My bad! ;-)

Assuming that the middle formers,(join), are the same size, might I suggest a broom handle or metal rod up the guts from end to end. You might need to fashion a sleeve or something for the larger end to make sure the rod is dead centre.
