deckape | 25-Mar-11 16:48 | I added a little right rudder for right turn glide pasttern, and down thrust, with right rudder and left turn power act as torgue keeps the nose up, so dont fight torque an airplanes best friend. this is an exceptionaly a heavy plane I added cardstock skins frm the firewall to former to former No.5, 500 turns with 8 strands of 1/8th tan rubber. |

Thanks for your wonderfull reply I am new here, I have a lot of builds comeing up, this kit is very great kit to build I would suggest make lightning holes in the wing ribs and leave off the skins it will certainly lighten up the ship for good indoor flying. I flew this one off the mountain side i thouight I would never get her back flew in left hand circles intil the power pooped out, she glided with right hand circle and got caight up in the themals flew like a buzzard, but she came down in one peice with no damage near a corn field I.ll never do that again. thanks for your reply |

David Duckett | 12-Apr-11 06:56 | When was this one built? |
deckape | 12-Apr-11 10:30 | Dave I built this last year, I built this for my neighbor and he lost intrest in the kit, now I have it as if I bought it myself. I had to cut out a lot of lightning hole in the wingspars.instead of useing 1/16th balsa sticks for the stringers I used light cardboard Bristol board for the stringers I cutted them to 1/16th and soaked them into Areo gloss dope for 24 hours and took them out of the dope let dry for a day and used them instread of the balsa it is lighter them balsa sticks. She flies in left hand circles for 2 minutes, with a touch of right rudder she will glid to the right so you dont have to chase her. still a little heavy but a lot lighter then she would have came out of the kit I highly recamend this kit toi be converted to electric opperation Rc .
