| Yes. I could calm it down significantly but I tend to put the highest output motors I can (within reason) in my aircraft. The reason being is that "It's there" if you need it to get yourself out of some not so ideal situations (low altitude stalls, wrong turns etc.). I'm not too sure but I seem to get longer flights using 1/3 throttle for level flight with a hipo motor than running 3/4 throttle with smaller (smaller dia. higher ohm) motor. Although running the bigger motor at full throttle reduces flight time quite a bit. But it sure is fun and exciting. That's the way I like em'. |
