| To keep the plane light, I made the tail out of 1/16 square contest balsa. I also replaced the center section of the canopy with a very thin piece of acetate. Here is a video of the plane flying. | Geeze man you man some great flying models! While watching your video I was starting to wonder if that Chipmunk would ever come down from the ceiling...great flight time in my opinion. |

| Great trimming! You got that nice, tight turn without it torque rolling at launch or spinning when the motor ran out. That one is dialed in just right! How much rubber is in it? |

| Thanks, it took a bit of fiddling with the thrust line to get it to turn proerly, under power. It is powered by one 1/8 inch loop of Tan II rubber that is about 14 inches long. I put in about 1000 turns, for the flight in the video. One problem with a long piece of rubber is that you can get too many knots in the rear, in mid-flight, making it tail heavy. This is why it was stalling slightly, half way through the flight. |

| Had the same problem. All the 900 series kits are a little tight in the motor peg area. Many people move the motor peg forward on Guillow's kits. Haven't built the Chipmunk, but the Typhoon, and Skyraider are outstanding fliers, but I've never been able to trim one that tight. |
