My major modification was to make all wing ribs half thickness, for better flying ability.

John, a great looking plane. I love the variation of kits on this site. From museum quality static kits to museum quality air worthy kits. Like any good art museum, the work here ranges from representational to nearly abstract. And it all complements the other. Great job, John. And great job, all.

Here is a video of the Typhoon flying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3_7jYIif2Q. This was with about 750 turns on the rubber. The rubber can take about 1000 turns, but at 900 turns, the model flies dangerously too close to the gym ceiling.

That is a great video John. She looks excellent in flight! How much post-build adjustments to the control surfaces were required to get her to fly how you wanted?

Superb work john. Loved the video. The plane flew so smoothly.

Thanks. This model didn't require much trim, unlike most of the low wing planes I have built. It needed small adjustments to the rudder and elevator to get a good glide. Under power, it only needed a little extra down thrust to stop stalling.
