Jedi...a picture is worth a thousand words! Painting the wing today. Decals this evening. The generator is fitted, not installed, this is the last accessory to be permanently installed. |

I guess "Slim" thought a good compass on the first trans Atlantic flight out weighed the little drag...he only went 120 mph or so! |

I think JohnG means an anemometer (a device for measuring wind speed) and looks very much like the spinny thing on top of the fuselage that you said was used to generate power for the electric compass. |
