Fuselage just about finished and ready for covering. Doubled up on the stringers per DD. Now on to the wing.

Super "Boat" - excellent work too. We recently watched a TV film (on Prime video)about the recent return of a "Cat" to Australia across the Pacific - some very good stuff in that for Catalina buff's.

That's a great looking build! Lots of stringers!

Thanks Ed. Bob I took time to watch The Return of the Catalina, very interesting, thanks for the heads up.

...thank you - glad you enjoyed the film.

good show, ed!

Ed, if you are still in the flying boat mood once you are done with this one, I saw that Outerzone.com just posted a 36" Spruce Goose plans from 1991!
edbecky16-Nov-20 10:02
I did see that but I think one flying boat is enough for now. I still have 4 kits on the shelf and a number of scratch builds I'd like to do.

Fair enough! :)

Ed, I might add that I'm glad to see that others like yourself are also watching OZ for possible builds. I think it's one of the best sites for downloading full size plans for "scratch build" projects.

Every work day! It's part of my morning ritual. Turn on computer, check Oz, ccheck Virtual Aerodrome, check email, start work! I've got about 25 plans downloaded from OZ that I'd like to build someday! With those and the 9 vintage Guillows, Comet and West Wings kits in the closet, I'm set for life!

This may seem dumb, but how do you download from OZ? I've searched it several times, but can't seem to ever download a plan.
edbecky17-Nov-20 11:25
Don, when you log on to OZ in the top right of the page there is an FAQ link to click on. This will have answers to questions like: How do I download a plan? and How do I print a plan at full size?

Thanks, Ed.
