Very nice indeed! Super job. A question... In the Tiger Moth that I learnt to fly, in 1960, "Acorns" (steamlined alloy tubes) were in place at the crossing points of the Flying & Landing wires. These were to limit resonance & vibration. Did aircraft of the Albatross period employ these too?

....I've just checked! The Albatross did not need the flying/landing wire bracing. So this model is 100% perfect, as we would expect from Dfell.

Thank you bobgood - glad you were able to answer your question as I hadn’t a clue :) Have a plastic Albatros D11 model kit (unmade) and some books as reference and as far as I know have attached all wires. Regards

Interesting question, Bob. Of the biplane I have built, only the Laird Solution did not have them. Curtis Hawk and Stearman did.
