Last week and this weekend, I used render options in Blender.org to produce all the outline images, which I then brought into PhotoShop to create the build plan. This is sheet 1 of 2. This plan will fit on six 8.5” x 11” sheets of paper so I can print them out on a printer and tape them together.

That's impressive. I don't understand it at all, but it's impressive

Hi Ed, Is it possible for you to give me a quick tutorial on creating 2D line drawings like this in Blender? Is this with Eevee, or Cycles? shaders? I can't seem to find anything on the net about it. I'd love to draw one from scratch and create a full set of plans. If you'll give me your address, I can email you so we dont have to clutter up the model board. Thanks in advance! Also, have you started on the build yet for the Bugatti?

@crob: Sure: edtherenderman@yahoo.com. I need to find my notes, but it was done via Blender with a lot of photoshop work. And...This is next on the list. Need to finish the Rumpler first, but I have the plans hanging on the wall so I can enjoy them!

Hello Ed, I received your thorough instructions and example file. Just wanted to say thank you again! It worked perfect and i'm in the process of starting a 100% scratch design / build.

Great! Glad it worked for you. Can't wait to see the results.

Did you create your own drawing? That's really something.

Thank you. Yes I did. I 3D modeled it, then used tools in the 3D software and Photoshop to create the plans. I plan to convert it to use a 2D laser cutter to cut out the ribs, formers and stringers. I'll 3D print the interior and things like landing gear and leading edge air intakes. It's next on the list after I finish the Rumpler. I'm anxious to see how well it builds.
