You might want to have that checked by a doctor.

If a projectile, of that caliber and diameter, passed in or out of that hole, his head would have exploded!

shrapnel? grenade fragment maybe...and a hasty field repair might look like that. I saw the immediate aftermath of a self inflicted wound just like it. A friend of mine, years ago in middle school days, was making little explosives by filling .50 cal shell casings with match heads unbeknownst to me. I was walking to his house before school just down the street when I heard a loud bang..he lost his right eye and was lucky not to have been killed by the piece of metal lodged in his orbital bone. He was an arrogant young man before that, not so much afterward. The wound looked a lot like this before it healed and he was issued a glass replacement. He was 'encouraged' to tour local campuses as a cautionary tale for two years.

In my past life, I taught chemistry. I had a gifted student do almost the exactly same thing. He too lost an eye. He grew a very larg crystal of fulminate of Mercury. He was carrying it across a room in a tablespoon. The unstable crystal went off and he lost vision in an eye!

It is supposed to be damage due to artillery, my leg is aslo injured. Later when i refuse to stand up because of the leg i simply get a bullet to the face
Creosotewind19-Jun-18 10:25
Well, that will teach you to stand up when told to stand up.
