cdwheatley | 03-Dec-07 15:04 | Major Edward 'Mick' Mannock, C.O. of No.85 Squadron (as denoted by the hexagon), dropped by earlier to see how the newest addition to the newly formed R.A.F.'s arsenal was coming along. He didn't say much, but I think he approved. The dog seemed to like it too. |
poppy | 03-Dec-07 15:53 | This is too cool! |
John M Oshust | 03-Dec-07 16:54 | It seems that I have started a trend. Nice jpb CD please do not forget to arm his plane! |
JohnG. | 03-Dec-07 18:29 | John O stole my comment..Seems that Lucky Lindy has stirred spirits of the past...neat touch |
wingspanner | 17-Feb-08 05:25 | This was a beautiful build and an education. I noticed your workboard at the beginning of the build.
Is it magnetic? and if so did you buy it in England ? |
cdwheatley | 17-Feb-08 06:16 | Thank you, but it's not finished just yet. I still have to fit the cowling + prop, the engine exhausts, plus the Lewis gun and mount atop the upper wing, as well as sundry other little bits and pieces. Pictures WILL be forthcoming, sometime soon I hope. As for the building board I use, yes it is magnetic. I bought the magnets from Easy Built Models in the U.S., and the board itself (a large magnetic dry wipe board) from my local Staples stationery store. |
