Gentlemen, I thank you. Getting the canopy on correctly was the last major PIA for this build. The man for whom this is being built has never seen this model except in photos and as it's a commission I want it to look as good as I can make it. |

Hi, I know a little history about your model and the pilot who flew it. On one of the missions flown over Japan the crew lost a motor and the pilot ( Andrew L Kaye ) talked it over with the crew and they decided to continue the mission . They flew over the target ( Oil fields ) and dropped their bombs. The plane turned and headed back to Guam and made it back to Midway. The model looks great in the pictures. I hope to see it someday. |
