This will anchor the rods attached to the gear doors at the front - then a simple section of plastic tubing will serve as the rear capture - hopefully allowing the doors to swing open and closed. Friction will hold them in either position heywooood 10-Jun-19 10:56 here you can see that friction will also hold the gear in the retracted position..I will fit a slotted hardwood block at the front of the opening to capture the gear in the full down position before I attach the doors..
