This iteration will be flown to check the aerodynamics. There will be a few changes for the production version, some stringers will be repositioned and I have to make a new mold plug for the nose block since the countours of the first one ( last version) were slightly off. There are a few small corrections needed to the wing structure.to make it easier to build and strengthen the landing gear attachment for the static builders and those who cant resist and RC conversion. The vertical tail will also have a few detail changes. That's why you build prototypes. If this were a one off, just for me, I would be satisfied with it as is.

Do you have a site you are selling these on? It's an unusual subject, which piques my interest. At 1/16 scale, thats about 25" wingspan, correct?

My web site is http://hjlmodels.com/ . The projected availability of the first kits in the 1:16 scale series in June. Unless the price of balsa goes through the stratosphere in the next two months they will be priced at $68. Yes, at 1:16 scale the wing span is 25-1/4". The P-6E (23-3/4" wingspan) will be released at the same time. The next two in the series the Heinkel 51 and Macchi C.202 should be available in time for Christmas shopping,

Looking forward to these 1/16 scale. I like that size of aircraft for static display, and really appreciate the less covered subjects!
