John M Oshust | 02-Oct-09 17:51 | We all have our favorite covering material...mine poly-span. Easy to use tight as a drum! |
Ken Miller | 13-Jan-10 19:57 | First, yours builds are incredible. I have surfed and searched but I can not find poly-span. Can you tell me if it goes by another name/ Thanks |
John M Oshust | 14-Jan-10 02:29 | Search polyspan covering. Aerodrome RC sells it. |
wingspanner | 14-Jan-10 11:15 | I have to agree with the "O" man Polyspan is superb. And as we say over here "It's as tough as Bulls Lugs" Paint area to stick to with balsaloc. Lay polyspan over top when dry.Pull taught and seal with sealing iron. Shrink with heat gun. Dope. Done. |
John M Oshust | 14-Jan-10 11:53 | I put this on with ca and then hit it with a heat gun. As you can see from my posts today, it will even shink when painted. Tony at my cabin, in dary farm country, we use the same expression subsituting lugs with balls! |
pfinn | 14-Jan-10 13:04 | "LiteSpan" is also the same stuff. |
