BriandKilby | 02-May-12 12:06 | starting rlm 82, does anybody know the recoating time and drying time for model masters acrylic and enamel paints? i can't seem to find it on the web. thankyou. |
julinick | 02-May-12 12:49 | I use Model Master acrylic by Testors, dry to the touch in 5 minutes. I use DD's method of painting, very light coats of acrylic, and usually 2 coats, max. 3 if needed. |
BriandKilby | 02-May-12 13:15 | thanks for your help, julinick. |
Heinrich Dorfmann | 02-May-12 13:54 | Some day I would like to build this plane myself. I understand that the Westwing kit is slightly larger (1/21). The Diels plan looks very clean. Any comments about which kit is better ...? Thanks in advance. |
BriandKilby | 02-May-12 14:56 | i haven't built the west wing one, but the diels isn't too difficult. |
BriandKilby | 02-May-12 15:51 | the thing i did and was told was to change the diels kit with guillows stringers because the diels kit balsa is light but weak if you are building a display model. |
