The jet looks Beautiful! Those inlets look like a challenge. Again such a key focal point and signature feature of the F9F..have you any 1/8" square balsa and some round toothpicks or fine wood dowel? I would build them out with balsa and attach the dowel as the leading edges of the inlets - then putty and sand to shape. I know you didn't ask for suggestions and I apologize in advance if I crossed a line. I'm sure whatever you decide to do, you'll make it work.

Thanks and I appreciate the suggestions. Neither plans had the wing tanks, so I'm working from drawings and pictures. They started out pretty good, but weren't at the proper angle, so... I think once they are attached it won't be too tough. The cockpit and canopy will be another story.

totally agree - she MUST have wing tanks...the ones you have fabricated are looking very good
