I want to add some access panels, and different scale items. Should I add them to the sheeted balsa before, then silkspan over them or silkspan first, then add the details? I will be painting the whole thing of course. So cover it first with the silkspan, then add a panel with some thin styrene, or card stock, then paint? Should I try to lighten up the edges of the panels so the lines are not that pronounced when painted? Got any examples in any of your builds you can point me to?
