HELP! When I put the stars and bars decal on the other side it cracked and even though I got it back together, I got it on too low. So...I removed the decals from both sides and now I need to order new ones from Guillows. Course, they don't have replacement decals for this kit so I need to know the sizes of the decals in other big kits. The ones here are 3 1/4" (fuselage) and 5" (wing). If anyone has a Corsair, P-38, P-47, or B-17, can you please measure the decals for me? Thanks.

P-38 has a pair of 4-3/8" and 3", B-17 has a pair of 4-3/4" and 3-3/8", B-24 has four 4-1/2", PBY has a pair of 6" and 3", Hellcat has four 6-1/4", B-25 has a pair of 3-3/4" and 2-7/8", P-51 has a pair of 5-3/8" and 4-1/2". I don't have a Corsair or P-37 (yet). The P-40 would be worth checking if anyone has one handy.

One thing that may help with the other decals in the B-29 kit is a tip I got from my local hobby shop owner. Add some regular white vinegar to your water. It softens them better if they come from an older kit and have become fragile.
