Josh: you may find this build helpful, or amusing.

Hello David. Yes I have looked at it a number of times. It`s so great to be able to see where various parts go and how they fit. The instructions are not always clear and often it`s just so much easier to see what others have done. It really clears up some of the guess work. That 1/3 scale B-17...Woah!

If you have netflix, and have a few minutes to watch an airplane movie... check out: Fortress (2012) The film follows the crew of the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress bomber Lucky Lass as they fly in the campaign against Italy during World War II. and... "No B-17s were harmed during this movie" There's a great sequence where a couple of P-40's come to the rescue.... The whole deal is CGI (Computer-generated imagery) but in HD on my big screen... well... It was very good...

Yes, seen "Fortress" quite a while ago and it was a good one.

I think this will be my next build. It will be nowhere as good as this, but I will give it my best shot. This is a beautiful model, as are all your builds.

Thank you, Kevin. This is one of the 43 I gave to the aviation department at the Bismarck Career Academy.
