pfinn | 19-Nov-09 17:06 | To make things a little more equal in Jimmy and my flight forrays (he's taken over flying the "Holiday"), DD has wonderfully provided me with, as usual, an unusual aircraft to have at. Will be RC. Full house. Thank You David. Phil. |
David Duckett | 19-Nov-09 19:07 | You're welcome. I appreciate all your help. |
mleduc | 19-Nov-09 20:01 | This will be neat. I really look forward to seeing it fly...though I have no doubts it will, and well. By "full house" do you mean flaps? ;-) |
pfinn | 19-Nov-09 21:24 | Well, if that what full house means then I guess not full house. My mistake. No flaps on this one, but I was pondering them quite a bit. The wings will be removable, so another set with flaps could be made ;o). This one will have leading edge slats though. This thing is quite small. |
pfinn | 19-Nov-09 22:07 | Oh yeah, this one will be finished ;). |
mleduc | 20-Nov-09 16:13 | pfinn, I have no doubt that you've been to RC groups before, but for smaller craft they seem to prefer aileron turn control vs. rudder. I suspect this is is in your bag of tricks already, ( Though. I think your beautiful "Holiday" was rudder control if I remember correctly.) That said maybe its a little complex for this build (servo would be in the center of the glass). I'm interested as Some guys have been doing rc conversions with 500 series Guillows planes even. I'm curious as to what you are thinking as to what your 3 channel set up might be. Signed...ML the wannabe. |
