All the models required some repair after their long flight time in the cabin.

Awesome, John! Some of my models are starting to finally see daylight at my fiancee's apartment, no pets there to knock anything down!

These were covered in years of dust. They were suspended too high making periodic cleaning a chore. Even a greater chore now at my age and physical condition.

I just sneezed my way through cleaning the B-17 of 7 years accumulation. I understand perfectly. I'm a little nervous about the open cockpit ones, but what the heck. No one can see the top anyway.

Don, I used an air compressor on the open cock pits after paintbrushing the dust loose. Then closed the pit off with crumpled plastic bag. Sprayed with cleaner, 409, I believe, then washed with hose. To be honest, about 2 hrs per plane.

Brush, damp rag. Thought about the compressor, but couldn't throttle it down enough. Can of compressed air for computer cleaning works OK.
