Centre of upper wing now covered.

This bit was VERY tricky - much more so than I'd imagined - especially at the trailing edge where the two diagonal pieces connect different sized wing ribs. It's turned out almost perfect, but there are a couple of minor blemishes that most people wouldn't even notice. I know they are there though, and my eyes are immediately drawn to them!

cd, your superb and meticulous building is always inspirational. BTW, I hope you had fun at the RAF (?) Museum. Did you take more pics of Spits and Hurricanes?

Nice job...I bet that there were blemishes on the real planes also!

This looks fine to me. The center section cutout of a biplane is generally the most difficult because of the compound curves. Good job!!

You're probably right John, but I am and always have been a bit of a perfectionist! PB, thanks, but the Hendon visit is this coming Sunday (9th) - if anyone would like specific reference photos please see my post at Guillow's own forum. Poppy, thanks, and good luck with the op.

Chris I think you should upload even larger versions of this picture so we can see that even you produce imperfections. :)

LOL! At least I shouldn't have as much trouble with the lower wing as the fuselage will sit on top of most of it.

Hey Chris, What in the range of microscopic do you consider minor? The hardest part is over. But don't let it happen again, OK; LOL....Looks fab.
