SteveM | 30-Jan-11 00:24 | Both motor mounts are finished. I went with PVA glue again for strength and to have time to make sure all was aligned before the glue set. |
SteveM | 30-Jan-11 00:26 | Recently in the period of 2 months I got married, moved, become a homeowner (by marriage), and got a new job; none of which was conducive to giving me time or space to work on the DH-89. Now that I'm back to working on it again I have no idea where around here I can fly it. |
David Duckett | 30-Jan-11 03:55 | Congratulations, nice to see you back! |
poppy | 30-Jan-11 09:31 | Nice work. Congratulation on marriage. Good to see you at it again. |
BillParker | 30-Jan-11 10:18 | Welcome back, Steve! And congrats! |
SteveM | 31-Jan-11 08:58 | Thanks guys, I'm going to try to keep working on it a little at a time. Yesterday afternoon and evening I tried to build the rudder but I wasn't able to dedicate enough time to get it finished.
The nearest RC club air field that I am aware of is a 35 minute drive from home and 25 minutes from work, if traffic is minimal (and it rarely is). I wonder if I can convince my wife to move out into the country a bit... |
