poppy | 15-Jul-07 20:22 | An old gal in for battle damage repair and repaint. Built 1986. |
John M Oshust | 19-Jul-07 16:58 | Looks great to me. It looks so used, real! When I finish my Mig I am considering stressing it to look used in combat. |
moostang51 | 19-Jul-07 18:29 | Ditto. You just couldn't clean it up a little? Howsbout a cockpit close-up photo? |
trotro | 21-Jul-07 20:14 | hi great plane i am starting the same kit i hope i con do it as nice as you did,
i have one question for everyone, i want to star flying rc and i want to build my plane but something easy so if i crash i can rebuildit again..does anybody knows were i can find the plane for that on the internet? |
jgood | 21-Jul-07 20:37 | trotro, I learned on this, I don't think there is a better beginners aircraft : GWS Slowstick. It's cheap, easy to fly, and easy to repair! Pics of mine here. |
trotro | 21-Jul-07 23:28 | GWS stand for guillows? or wt does it means
sorry for all the questions but since i am a new b i have no idea of all ur terms.. |
jgood | 22-Jul-07 00:52 | If you click on the links I gave you, you'll see it. GWS is not Guillow. GWS specialise in foam construction r/c aircraft. |
trotro | 06-Aug-07 17:52 | poppy what did you use to cover the plane? |
Xanadu | 06-Aug-07 17:58 | Trotro.......
I would suggest a foam plane for a first rc choice, since they are very easy to repair over, and over, and over again.
I have a b-29 foam bomber, that I must have repaired wth epoxy over 24 times. I have broken every main surface including the fusaluge, wings, stab, rudder, etc, many times each
Mix up the 5 min. epoxy, goo it one, and in 1/2 hour ready to fly again!
I use clear packing tape also to help hold togeather when the glue is drying. |
