In case you wonder about this, I have a new toy. It's a Transformer edition Camaro, #209 of 250 built by SLP. If I can figure out how to get more images from my ########windows 10, I will post them.

Hi folks in virtual aerodrome: Poppy passed away May 20 after a short duration with cancer. I found login for this site and know he really enjoyed building models and showing off his models::: and life. Many thanks to all of you! I have many of his models, and would look forward to donating* if anyone is interested: He built many. If interested, let me know. Sorry for your loss, Stephen. I was inspired by your dad's craftsmanship and was a humble recipient of his encouraging support for my own efforts. I have not been here for as long as many other members, but am deeply appreciative of the long shadow of influence and inspiration he cast. I think I can say this without speaking out of turn and say your dad's presence will be sorely missed around here. Thank you for taking the time to let us know and again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Stephen, I too, had the honor of meeting Poppy through this marvelous VA site and he's been inspiring to me as he was given hints and suggestions how to achieve detailing on my models and thereby elevate them from "toys" to true models. Really a remarkable man and great friend. Sincerely Gary

Stephen, please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. Over the few years that I have been here, I have looked forward to seeing his models and to getting his advice on my efforts. He will be missed by all of us here, too.
