jgood | 22-Aug-05 23:18 | Another picture of the fuse tonight. The only modification from stock so far, is lightening the back structure a little, since it doesn't need to support the rubber motor any more. |
jgood | 11-Feb-08 06:54 | VP46 / SteveM, my motor was the GWS LPS-B2C-C. |
VP46 | 11-Feb-08 10:00 | THats the motor I thought I picked up - now I'm second guessing it. I have it listed as GWS LPS-B2C-CS (6.2:1, 7.2 V, 11.81 g) on my build spreadsheet but I relied on Aeromicro to hand me the right one - maybe they made a mistake?
The Fairchild is absolutely my next model - your video clinched it for me. BTW your tri-plane is unbelievable! |
SteveM | 11-Feb-08 14:24 | To check which gear box you have, turn the prop and count how many times the motor shaft turns for one revolution of the prop. You may need to remove the motor to see the gears better.
If you find they messed up your order and you want a new supplier, check out BP Hobbies. They have similar prices for the GWS motors and shipping starting at $3.25 for "small orders". |
VP46 | 11-Feb-08 16:41 | Thank you for the lead - I'm now wondering if they had sent a 4.8 volt motor hence the burning out.... think would that do it? |
