| This is definitely one of those kits with a lot of room for the extra mile. Of course here we see Dave Duckett going a lot further than a measly mile lol.
I always liked the big Widow - so much going on with these airplanes inside and out that was new and different.. and menacing. |

| Thank you. I actually started enjoying doing it but am glad it's nearly finished. I am not a mechanical person so figuring out just exactly how to make something is the hardest part. The plans encourage the builder to detail and there are excellent drawings of the outside but nothing for the inside. |

| I agree, it is one of the fun parts of a build. The zebra P-51 was really fun, but after looking at the interior of an A-26 I decided you had the right approach to that one. I was trying to figure out how to build the gunner's seat spinning around a periscope - nope. |

| Well it sure looks like you found some decent reference images to work from, Dave. This looks terrific to my eye and while it is easy to take a very close look at this point, once the canopies are installed etc, what the eye can see is restricted somewhat. Seems to make the effort more worthwhile and a little less involved than a detailed open cockpit for instance. I'm just constantly amazed at all of the very fine craftsmanship from everyone here. It's just the best place to be - very inspiring |
