Business end. Tried to get the shape of the cowl right. Suprisingly, I could find very few pics looking directly into the cowl that would help with the shaping of the cowl. Motor mount out of 1/8" lite-ply.

Looks quite reasonable. Nice job on the infilling. I had a hard time trying to get that type of picture for the A-26. Looks to be around 20" long. Plans are for a razorback, but yours looks like a "D".

Actually, it's about 27 long w/34 " WS (from Clive Smalley "Dogfight Duo" plans). I tried something new this time; Planking using my Master Airscrew balsa stripper with a spacer under it to cut bevels so that the planking does not have the "V" groove between the planks. Works Good. It is a bubble-top "D" that I will finish in the P-47M prototype colors with natural metal and yellow zinc chromate cowl and tail. I am going to try to install silver monokote on it.

Does it go faster than infilling? So how long are the "planks"? And could you post a picture of the balsa stripper? It sure looks smooth.

Cactus grow faster than infilling!

That's a really nice piece of work.
