David Duckett | 01-Feb-16 02:02 | The plans instruct you to apply two or three coats of dope to one side to make it curve. Because dope shrinks, it makes the wood curve. Therefore it's important to counteract that by doping both sides at the same time. It won't make it perfectly flat but it will most certainly help. |

David Duckett | 01-Feb-16 09:02 | That is because you are compressing the fibers, effectively shrinking them. If I wanted to curve the balsa, I would just wet it with water.:-) |
