Eze Dope was quite nice to use, diluted 50/50 with water. It doesn't have the smell of Nitrate Dope, nice to use.

Where did you pick up the eze dope?

That looks very nice James - one of my best liked machines that T28!

Thanks all. Luke, I got the Eze Dope from my local hobby shop. Looks like it's available on Amazon too.

does the eze dope work better than the nitrate dope? what is your preference james?

I just tried Ezedope and the end result was it does not leave a nice smooth finish. I diluted it and brushed it on but still had blotchy spots and was rough to the touch. It was a bit smoother on Esaki but does not look good on domestic tissue. It does not add weight, attaches the tissue nicely and attaches tissue to tissue awesome. Also great at preventing warps. I think I am going to dry nitrate dope first then brush on the EZEdope to see if that is smoother.

I concur with scigs on the 'smooth finish' thing. However, a 50:50 watered-down mix helped a lot with that. It wasn't 100% perfect, but much much better. Not sure if you tried that, scigs? I may try a 60:40 water mix next, see if it still shrinks enough to pull tight. I like the fact that it is meant to be fully water proof once dry.

jgood, I am thinning mine 70/30 at it is a little better but still a little rough. Have you noticed using Ezedope prevents the fragile structures from warping?
